Curbside Collection
Residential curbside trash and recycling services in Bellevue are handled through a private subscription system. Residents select and contract individually with a permitted local waste hauler:

Set-out rules: Place waste receptacles at the curb by 6:00 AM on your scheduled pickup day. Bins must be removed within 24 hours of collection.

WHAT TO RECYCLE (✓)
- ✓ Paper: Newspapers, junk mail, office paper, clean paper bags, flattened cardboard boxes
- ✓ Plastic: Clean and empty bottles, jugs, and tubs with recycling symbols #1–7
- ✓ Metal: Aluminum cans, steel/tin cans, and clean foil
- ✓ Glass: Clear, brown, and green glass bottles and jars

Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste (paints, pesticides, automotive fluids) is collected during periodic special events hosted by the OSS Joint Solid Waste District. Visit recycleoss.org for details.
Dumpster Rentals
For major cleanouts or construction, rent 15-yard roll-off dumpsters locally from Mad River Storage & Multi-Works on Route 20: **(567) 214-4700**.
Drop-Off Recycling & Waste Sites
- City Recycling Station: Located at **241 N. Sandusky St** (the former GTE parking lot). Features multiple specially labeled community dumpsters for dropping off paper, cardboard, plastics, and metals.
- OSS Solid Waste District Bins: The Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca Joint Solid Waste District provides local community recycling bins. Check recycleoss.org for additional local locations.
- Walmart Bellevue: Front entrance bins accept clean plastic grocery bags, bubble wrap, and plastic film.
- AutoZone & O'Reilly Auto Parts: Collect used motor oil and automotive batteries free of charge.
